ABOUT ME                         LIDDLE KIDZ MISSION

Rachel Speranza is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Aromatherapist, Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist, and Certified Rainbow Kids Yoga Instructor. Ms. Speranza also inspires future massage therapists, as an Adjunct Massage Therapy Instructor at Palm Beach State College. After completing a 200 hour diploma program in aromatherapy, she continued on to earn a registration in aromatherapy. Massage Therapy became the next logical progression for Rachel, and she became a Florida State Licensend Massage Therapist, and Nationally Certified Massage Therapist in 2003. Rachel quickly found her niche by studying Lane Stone Therapy, and made this her signature modality, and later beacme a Florida CEU instructor of this for Lane Stone Therapy. Rachel embarked on her first volunteer effort when she traveled to the Mississippi Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina with ERMI and the UAE providing 15 min. chair massage on all first responders. Her next endeavor was to travel to Tibet with a doctor's group on a medical mission to perform therapeutic massage on the indigenous people who suffered from Kashin-Beck syndrome, a rare arthritic disease. While in Tibet, the team also visited many orphanages, as well as a blind school for children, and Rachel found herself “being” with the kids was the greatest joy she ever experienced. This prompted Rachel to study Pediatric Massage and Infant Massage w/Tina Allen of Liddle Kidz, in the hopes of introducing healthy touch to children that may have been affected by trauma, children w/learning disabilities, and children w/developmental issues. Through her love and passion for children and teens, Rachel established onsite events called “Pampering With Purpose”, that brought healing touch, and mini-spa therapy events to camps for underprivileged children and state funded group homes. She went on to become certified in Rainbow Kids Yoga in the hopes of offering a union of nurturing touch w/ that of a yoga practice that focuses on fun, co- creation, and togetherness. It is through this natural gift and passion for kids, as well as being in the moment, that she captivates the young ones, and creates a safe, loving, environment for them. Rachel embarked on a Global Outreach in 2012 to provide nurturing and healing touch with Liddle Kidz Foundation and a team of 21 other licensed professionals. The team spent 3 1/2 weeks traveling throughout Vietnam, visiting orphanages performing pediatric massage and training caregivers In January 2016, she rejoined Liddle Kidz Foundation on another Global Outreach in the Philippines. Their trip was built around creating sustainability around Pediatric Massage with as many locals as they could reach in a tour around three islands. She has also went on to study advanced trainings Tina Allen of Liddle Kidz; such as Touch Therapy for Liddle KidzTM with Autism, Touch Therapy for Liddle KidzTM with Trauma, and CPMT IITM (Advanced Pediatric Massage Therapist).

Liddle Kidz Foundation uses the power of touch to reach the world's most vulnerable children with experiences of appropiate nurturing touch that they often lack. With nurturing, compassion and touch therapy, children will develop and reach their full potential. We strive to address their critical tactile needs by working directly with their families and healthcare providers in pediatric hospitals, hospices, and orphanages to provide comprehensive nurturing services, consultation, education, program development and support. We are committed to furthering the development of touch therapy services for vulnerable and underserved populations internationally. Through education and support we work to create replicable and sustainable change. Children are our greatest gift and should be treated with extraordinary care! LKF Global education reaches not only developmental goals of healthy well children, but also addresses varying special healthcare needs.  In this way, all children benefit from receiving nurturing and appropriate touch. Specifically we provide focused support to orphans and children affected by HIV/AIDS, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Agent Orange, Down Syndrome, Autism/ASD, Muscular Dystrophy, landmine survivors, children with visual and hearing impairments,  as well as a host of mental and physical impairments. Education presented by LKF Global is done so in respect of all cultures and specifically adapted on a case-by-case basis, so all materials are culturally adaptable. LKF Global infuses storytelling, games, songs and developmental movement to adapt its curriculum to any culture. This empowers all caregivers to be able to provide sensory rich stimulation without the use of toys or costly equipment.
